Menu bar (top of screen) click Go -> Connect to server: "192.0.0.0"/ip of share click connect.
This will create a shortcut on the desktop as well as list "192.0.0.0"/ip of share in the list of places within a Finder window.
AutoMount Samba Share
System Preferences -> Accounts -> (your user account) Log In Tab -> click the "+". A Finder window will appear, select the mounted share volume and click Add.
